  • 2.2 lbs ground beef (20% fat)
  • 4 tbsp PEPPADEW® Onion Crunch
  • 6–8 brioche burger buns
  • Onion Crunch Mayo:
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 heaping tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup mixed oils
  • 1–2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • ½ lemon
  • 2 tsp PEPPADEW® Onion Crunch
  • Toppings:
  • PEPPADEW® Onion Crunch
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1–2 large beef tomatoes
  • Cheddar cheese slices
  • Avocado slices
  • Lettuce leaves

Juicy homemade beef patties seasoned with PEPPADEW® Onion Crunch for a burst of flavour. Each burger is layered with melted cheese, crisp lettuce, ripe avocado, and creamy Onion Crunch mayo on soft brioche buns. Perfect for BBQs or a gourmet fakeaway night!

Method

  1. 1 Make the Onion Crunch mayo: whisk egg yolks and mustard. Slowly add half the oil while whisking until thick. Add vinegar, then remaining oil. Season with salt, lemon juice, and whisk in PEPPADEW® Onion Crunch.
  2. 2 Mix ground beef with 4 tbsp PEPPADEW® Onion Crunch. Form into balls slightly smaller than a tennis ball.
  3. 3 Heat a skillet until very hot. Add burger balls and smash flat with a spatula. Cook 2 minutes, flip, add cheese, cover with foil, and steam melt for 2 minutes.
  4. 4 Spread Onion Crunch mayo on buns. Stack burgers with lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, and extra Onion Crunch. Serve immediately.
